In Chainsaw Safety: 01. Types of Chainsaws and Safety Precautions, you will learn not only how to use chainsaws safely, but also the different types of saws available. There are several chainsaw designs, each one with it's own intended application and function. In this course, you will learn when to use each saw, as well as their unique design features and how they should be used. You'll go over proper safety gear like goggles and gloves, and you'll be introduced to built-in safety features showcased on most saws. Finally, you will learn why a poorly maintained saw is more dangerous, and how to keep your chainsaw running properly. This course is part of the Chainsaw Safety series and is presented as a narrative video with helpful illustrations. You'll also get additional student resources and references to print or read online.
