In the course Chainsaw Safety: 02. Making the Cut, you will learn to perform a common task for saws: taking down a tree. You will not only learn how to make a plan for cutting, such as choosing which side of the tree to cut and removing any overhead wires, but how to do it safely using four steps: preparation, felling, limbing, and bucking. You will learn how to get your chainsaw ready for action, such as adding fuel. The course also goes over how to grip your saw and how to stand when operating it. This course is part of the Chainsaw Safety series and is offered as a helpful video with narration and illustrations to showcase key points. You'll also get additional student references to go back and search easily.
