These days, several generations work together and this Working with Different Generations: Introduction to the Working Generations course presents a broad overview about who they are and what has shaped their outlooks. We introduce tensions which sometimes color our views of those generations and how to change those views. You'll discover useful reminders about the life experiences that affected each working generation. For instance, people aged between 20 and 50 have had vastly different experiences at home and at work, including changes in the role of women in the workplace and changes in technology. Part of our Working with Different Generations series, this course goes over impactful historical events that have shaped generations, as well as family and social dynamics. You'll gain a better understanding of the differences and use them to your advantage. Taking a fresh look at generational differences not only helps companies and employees get along better, but it also helps when developing relationships with customers.
