In First Aid: 01. Introduction to First Aid, you'll gain a basic overview of how to administer emergency care in the event of an accident or injury in the workplace. This is not meant to be a comprehensive safety course, but it does provide practical advice on how to help your organization keep its injured or sick employees safe until they can be seen by a healthcare professional. The course begins by reviewing what should be included in a first aid kit and where to store it. You’ll learn the steps that should be followed to ensure the safety of everyone, both the victim and the person providing assistance. You’ll also learn tips on what to look for and what to avoid in an emergency to prevent further harm. This brief video course is part of our First Aid series. It includes a final exam and printable course document for easy reference.
