This course is designed to instill a comprehensive understanding of the inherent risks and safety measures associated with various saw operations, ranging from hand manual saws to power saws. Participants will learn about the critical danger zones, including the point of contact, and the potential hazards such as kickbacks, jamming, broken saw teeth, and airborne particles during cutting. Emphasis is placed on the importance of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), awareness of material risks, and the prevention of incidents through meticulous planning and constant environmental awareness. The course highlights the significance of communication with co-workers and proactive measures to mitigate external factors that may contribute to potential accidents.
Objectives
