In Driving Safety: Commercial Driver's License (CDL): 01. CDL Overview, you'll gain an overview of the legal requirements you need to fulfill, and the tests you need to complete, in order to earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). There are separate state and federal regulations on driving a commercial vehicle, and in this course you’ll learn about the age, vision, and medical requirements that you need to fulfill, as well as the specific documents you must possess, to begin the process of earning your CDL. You’ll also get a general overview of the knowledge and skills tests, and learn about the recent rule changes that will apply to you once you’ve earned your CDL. This quick introductory course is the first part of our CDL series.
