This course is designed to help civilians respond to active shooter incidents effectively. In this course, Ryan Tillman, founder of Breaking Barriers United, explores how to respond to an active shooter using the Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate (ALICE) method. He'll explain how to prepare for an active shooter by observing your daily environmental changes. He'll also help you develop a plan for active shooter encounters in the workplace and in public, and give you tips to mentally prepare for critical situations. By the end of this course, you'll have strategies to be ready for the unexpected.
