Description
For industrial workers and construction employees, this course provides important safety procedures to be used when excavating, trenching and shoring on the jobsite. Because of the potential hazards associated with these tasks, it is essential to follow accepted OSHA safety regulations for the protection of workers. Students will learn the key terms associated with safety, and how to design and construct an excavation. We'll also cover guidelines for working in and around excavations. This course helps workers understand and exercise proper safety procedures when excavating jobsites. The course satisfies the requirements of OSHA requirement 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P.
