In this elearning course, Multitasking, you'll learn why breaking the habit of multitasking can help your productivity. We'll discuss how multitasking is used, and why constantly shuffling tasks and refocusing your brain does more harm than good. We review what multitasking means, how to recognize it, and why continually asking our brains to shift focus can lead to wasted time and an increased chance of error. Finally, we review why chronic task shifting leads to fatigue, stress and memory damage – and how you can learn to break the habit.
